The company DIEPA was founded in 1873 by Moritz Dietz, which was later transformed into an industrial enterprise by his own son August Richard Dietz. In 1920 the production of ropes from steel wires began, from which DIEPA later invented the stranded spiral rope. Today the company is 100% family owned, employs 350 people and is certified ISO 9001:2015.
