The Company SpanSet-secutex GmbH & Co. KG
SpanSet secutex Sicherheitstechnik GmbH was founded in 1982 by Heinz Franke together with SpanSet GmbH. The headquarters of SpanSet Germany are located in Übach-Palenberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. Originally, the focus was on developing protective coatings for textile lifting and lashing equipment – from this, the innovative material secutex was created. The name is a combination of the English words “secure” and “textile” and symbolizes “secure textile.”
Today, SpanSet GmbH, with around 70 employees, is an experienced specialist in lifting technology, height safety, and fall protection, offering a wide range of applications. Whether in industry, logistics, or construction, secutex supports its customers as a reliable partner in demanding lifting and transport situations.
What is the material secutex?
Secutex is an extremely wear-resistant polyurethane developed to protect the surfaces of sensitive materials such as coil hooks and for lifting sharp-edged components. Over the years, SpanSet-secutex GmbH has become one of the largest processors of compact polyurethane and is now a leading manufacturer of lifting slings and edge protection products, such as protective sleeves.
At SpanSet-secutex GmbH, new ideas are consistently implemented in the form of innovative products. Today, almost all coil storage facilities in Europe are equipped with secutex coil mats and secutex Coilprotect, ensuring proper coil handling.
