Demag Rope pear socket

Rope pear sockets are used to take up rope ends and thus enable an exchangeable compound as a rope connection or the connection to further construction parts. In conjunction with the shackle, this rope connection enables load handling equipment to be changed quickly, e.g. when converting a plant from bulk material to general cargo operation by quickly connecting the grab hoist ropes to the closing ropes of the hoist. Functionally correct design of rope pear sockets ensures trouble-free running on beak sheaves. Grouting of rope ends in the rope pear socket with a grouting compound approved by Germanischer Lloyd.

No ropes with a diameter larger than that specified may be cast into the respective lug rope pear socket size, even if the dimension "d" allows this.
