Unlike bolted or conventional lifting points, weld-on lifting lugs are permanently welded to the component. This eliminates the need for threads and ensures direct steel-to-steel contact. As a result, they offer a secure, non-detachable connection between the load and the component – delivering the highest level of safety during use. Welding must be performed directly on the intended component, ideally by a skilled and qualified individual.
Thanks to the fixed welded eye, there is no risk of loosening or unscrewing when rotating or turning loads, and a uniform load distribution is ensured. Depending on the model, our online catalog includes weldable lifting lugs with a load capacity of up to 100 tons. Our weld-on lifting eyes are designed with high strength and tailored for various weights – the load capacity can be selected individually. Weldable Lifting Points and Their Requirements
We offer various versions of weldable lifting points. In addition to the standard rigid models, you will also find rotatable weld-on eyes, as well as weld-on hooks and lifting lugs. They are manufactured and tested for all directions of load, allowing them to withstand multiple times their rated load before failure.
Furthermore, they are designed for a high number of load cycles, though they should be inspected regularly. Stainless steel lifting lugs are particularly corrosion-resistant and suitable for harsh environments. Our products comply with the European standard EN 1677.
